Dermal fillers, otherwise known as facial fillers, are a type of injection we use to help combat wrinkles. As we age and our skin becomes thinner due to a loss of collagen, our skin begins to wrinkle. We use injectable fillers in order to fill in wrinkles that naturally come as we get older. We have a variety of different dermal filler products to choose from to best suit your needs.
Naturally, we want our dermal fillers to help your skin look young and youthful for as long as possible. However, we don’t want your skin to become bumping from injecting too much filler, or even the wrong kind. Different types of fillers are used to treat different lines and wrinkles on the skin depending on the thickness and location they’re being used. Jena is an expert on fillers and neurotoxins – so you can rest easy knowing you’re in good hands and that you’ll be left with young and healthy looking skin.
It is completely normal to experience some bruising and swelling during the first two weeks after injection. To combat potential bruising and swelling from fillers, Jena recommends using over-the-counter arnica products starting three days prior to your injection.
Be sure to consult your primary doctor prior to starting
